We believe this sweet little Christmas card was sent during WWII by a son to his mother. This is mainly due to the style of the card and the printed poem inside that reads:

'Bright Days and a Golden Future - I'm far from you, but now as ever I send my greetings, warm and true, And pray that God in mercy never Will sorrow send, to trouble you'

It is in overall good condition considering its age and composition with the fact it is a bit grubby and slightly creased being the only points to note. It measures approx. 2.75" x 4.25"
