This antique silver cased pocket watch hallmarked Charles Cooke, London, 1883 is in good working order. The silver case is in nice antique condition, apart from some minor dings and faint scratches (both inside and out), and both watch glass and back, open and close securely
The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals, gold coloured metal hands and subsidiary seconds dial and apart from a small linear mark near the 'XI' numeral is in perfect condition. English lever going barrel movement, unsigned but numbered 71745, the case with the same number
There is a tiny series of numbers engraved by the hallmark inside the back cover which appears to read M27051577 and a crossed out 'H|N'
The watch is completed by the addition of a silver Albert Chain with winding key attached, the hallmarks on the chain 'H.A & S' with date letter 'i' possibly denotes it was made by Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater c.1904
The glass does have a number of tiny scratches on its surface and can be spun in its setting but is perfectly secure
The case measures approx. 2" in diameter and just over .5" thick and the chain measures approx. 16" in length (including the key)
