The silver cigar/cheroot case is marked Birmingham, 1902 and shows the makers mark W.V & S which we believe from research would denote that it was made by William Vale & Sons. It is in good condition considering its age with only one tiny dint and faint abrasions to the surface, there is some scratching and discolouration to the interior more than likely due to use. The hinge is in good working order and the case snaps shut tightly. It measures approx. 2.5" in length and weighs 19g
The cigar/cheroot holder features what appears to be an amber mouthpiece and gold band. The band hallmark is worn but appears to read as Birmingham, 1902 and had the number .375 which denote it to be 9c gold. The makers mark appears to read W.V & S which we believe from research would denote that it was made by William Vale & Sons. The band is in good condition with some wear to the hallmark and some faint abrasions, unfortunately the mouthpiece itself appears to have cracked and been repaired at some point.
