These are a collection of five British Police uniform buttons from the Staffordshire County Police Force, from research into the style we have ascertained that they are made of horn and feature the Queens crown and knot which would date them to 1968-1974. There is no makers mark to the reverse of any button so we have been unable to date the buttons accurately. Considering they have all been used at some point they are in rather good condition, there are some abrasions and wear to the surface of each and one button has a chip to the back (please see closeups of photos for detail)
Each button measures approx. 26mm in diameter and weighs 3g
